Educational Services - Adult Programs
Through the efforts of long-time DVOA member Ann Merriam in 1989 DVOA-ES began offering multiple-session "Introduction to Orienteering" courses through adult evening education programs. Although basic instruction is always offered at each DVOA event, these programs are designed to "jump-start" an individual's knowledge of the sport by giving them a much more in-depth knowledge of techniques and terminology. Look for more program sites to be added in the future!
