Past DVOA member Lauren MacMullan nominated for Oscar! Watch this Sunday!

    Although she now lives in the LA area, Lauren was a DVOA member for many years.  (And she returns to run in about one DVOA event a year.   This year it was the Ridley Foxtrot.)  In fact, Lauren designed our original DVOA logo which was based on Disney's Br'er Rabbit.   She now works at Disney and ...drumroll please...is nominated for an Oscar for her short animated film entitled "Get A Horse."

    She also accepted an Annie Award this past February 1st for the film.

    So, this Sunday as you watch the Oscars on ABC at 7pm (according to Oscar site) please root for Lauren in the category of Best Animated Short Film.  We are so proud of her!

    Just to be considered with the best in the world is a major compliment. You should be proud!


    And for next year's entry, how about Prince Charming goes in to the woods to find Snow White, who is lost on control 10?
