MapMaking Class at Annual Meeting

Here's an update to the class description for tomorrow (or this afternoon if you're reading this in the morning). This is what we plan to cover (Ed Scott will be joining me) from 3 to 4:30-ish.
We want to present something that any member can use immediately in whatever situation they find themselves -- easy ways to create maps and use them in programs with your school, with your troop, with any group you're involved with, even if you don't have a fancy orienteering map of your area, sophisticated map drawing computer programs, or any exerience in creating elaborate maps.
AND we plan to have you experience a couple of those applications during the class.
So bring your layers of warm clothes (yes, we will be going -- briefly -- outside), as well as your curiosity and willingness to explore the possibilities of how all of us can bring orienteering to whatever population in whatever setting we find ourselves.
