My daughter (age 26) is fairly new to O, and not at all ready to run Red. Can she register for NAOC in Orange? Would she have to do that on a "recreational" course? Will there be an Orange recreational? A brown recreational (for her boyfriend)?
    Thanks!

I believe you can "override" the color automatically selected by your YOB and select any color you wish. We are not offering the full spectrum of colors at walkup registration.

She could register for the open female category on orange (F-Orange) and that should be an option in the drop-down menus in the registration.

The only recreational courses being offered at the North American Championships are the beginner or White course.

However, there are "open" classees on all courses so anyone can register for any course.  If you want to register for Orange and your age group is not assigned to orange, just register for F-Orange if you're female or M-Orange if you're male.  There is an F-Green, F-Brown, F-Yellow and F-White category for any female that wants to compete on any course and similarly for male categories.

    Hope that helps!
