DVOA Officers to be Elected in January 2012

    Officer positions available for 2012

     

    Take your commitment to orienteering to another level! Several officer positions will become available beginning January 2012, and the club is seeking those wishing to help keep DVOA competitive and strong. If interested in a position, please email Sandy Ahlswede at sahlswede70 at yahoo dot com before January. Votes will be cast at the Winter Meeting. Officers commit to attending 4-6 executive committee meetings a year in addition to any other individual position's responsibilities.

     

    Positions available:

    President (2 year commitment): Coordinate and chair executive meetings, create agenda according to needs/issues of the club, answer email received through website

    Vice President (2 year commitment): Assist president with duties when needed, answer emails received through website

    Secretary (2 year commitment): Record and maintain meeting minutes, contact parks for permissions, handle insurance applications and other official correspondence of the club

    Trustee (5 year commitment): review and vote on requests for funds over $500

     

    All officer positions have voting authority.
