was excellent, at least on the green course - a good mix of trails and woods with some nice route choices while keeping us out of the nastier briars.  We especially appreciated how the climb was distributed throughout the course.  Thanks to everyone who put the event together!

My thanks, as well, to those who set up and ran the event.  It was a great day to be in the woods.

The (Brown-Green) Red course was great.  I especially enjoyed the far western control on the Green course (#8 I think).

I'm with Dan on #8 on the Green course.  A lot of fun getting to and from that control.  As an added bonus, a spectacular cliff nearby.  Is that an old quarry site, or is that a natural formation?

I wish we had RouteGadget for this course -- I'd love to see what routes other people took from 7 to 8 to 9.

#8 on the Green is indeed an old quarry.  They used to mine serpentine (an attractive building stone).  Now, the vultures (both Black and Turkey vultures) roost on the cliff.
