    Hi alltogether!

We are a group of italian orienteers, who are going to visit New York in 2 weeks. We would like to buy some maps from Central Park and WOC93 area Surbridge mountain. I already tried to contact Hudson Valley Orienteering Club twice but unfortunately got no response so far. Is there anybody who could help us?

Thanks in advance and best wishes

DVOA has copies of a portion of Surbridge at 1:10000 and Rockhouse.  No Central Park..  email me for details at [scottdvoa at dejazz.com]

You can buy a Central Park map here: http://www.treasurehuntadventures.com/centralpark/shop.html or contact Chris Cassone here: http://www.treasurehuntadventures.com/contact.html to see if he has any other editions of the map

Your best option is to take a train to Sloatsburg, NY and then walk north along RT-17 till 7 Lakes Road which is going through entire Harriman State park. There is no public transportation option available in the park itself, so, you'll have to walk/run until you get to one of the maps.
