Nothing definite yet, but I'd like to estimate the interest in camping out at French Creek park in two weeks--the night before the FC North event.  It would be in what they call a "Group Camp"--just tents, but there are bathrooms and water.

Anybody up for an adventure to finish off the summer?

Sounds good Fred - I may have to talk the kids in to it though.  The more that go the better chance I have of getting them interested!

We have camped there for the last 5 years before events and had fun!  Burgers and corn on the cob over a wood fire!

    Sharon and I are interested.

Do you have any activities in mind? Saturday training? Flag hanging? Campfire and a midnight swim in Scott's Run Lake?

I thought about some informal night-o.  I don't know what, if any, grief would would get from the park running around at night in the woods.  One would think campers (orienteers or not) have made use of the park at night beyond the confines of the camping areas.  Scott Thatcher might be able to shed some light on that since he's camped there before.

Sam and I will be busy much of the day hanging controls, so I probably wouldn't be the person to lead any sort of training during the day.  If someone wants to help hang controls, we'd be delighted to have the help (whether they camp out or not)

All other traditional and legal camping out activities are on the table.
