The Geists have volunteered to be event directors for the scheduled event but we need a course designer. This would involve planning the courses and getting that information to the event directors in time to get the maps ready for the event.  The plan is to have a white, a sprint, and a score that all utilize the existing trail system.  Since it is a small area and a relatively new map I would think it could be done with a few minutes of preplanning and a half day or less in the woods.

The challenge is that all the courses must stay on the trails.  Due to the terms of the Schuylkill Center's conservation easement, the only time DVOA is allowed off-trail is during a winter event.
Having never designed a course, Larry & I need someone with experience for this task.  I am very familiar with the trail system at SCEE, and would be happy to assist the course designer.  I'd be happy to sit in, watch & learn.  I can also go along and set up the controls on Saturday August 7.

Hey all you experienced course designers: Design our map, and I'll go out with you to check the sites, and mark them with a bit of surveying tape - and then you can count your work as done.  I'll happily hang all the flags on Saturday.  As I said before, I'm very familiar with the SCEE trails and features.

It looks like we have a course designer and a printer, thank you, thank you!  Keep an eye on the schedule, everyone else, for the call for volunteers.  Thanks!
