Hi All!

Has anyone heard of something called "World Orienteering Day?".  I came upon it kind of accidentally, but here is the link.  The timing is kind of odd, falling on a Wednesday (May 24, 2017).  I am planning on taking that week off from work, so if a minion is needed, I can help out.

Not sure if this would be something we wish to do, but I thought I may raise awareness.

There are some preliminary plans in the discusion stage to have a (sprint?) event on that date.

I'm pretty sure that the events are supposed to be school programs...

And the event in preliminary stages of discussion would also be a school event.

We're not sure that the event we thought might fit the bill as a World Orienteering Event will be able to take place on 5/24.

I can certainly help out, being more of a worker bee when it comes to O events, as I am planning on being on vacation from work that week.

I do not have the school connections that you all have in the Philly area, but if you need a set of hands, please let me know.
