    I read with great interest DVOA's proposal for hosting the 2012 NAOC.  It was an impressive and well-written document.  Aside from the fact that it was obviously successful, in that DVOA was awarded the event, it also provided interesting background on our club, the logistics of high-level events, and the future of orienteering.

    What a tease!  the photos are so so beautiful and the area is sure to be embargoed (right?)  The pictures by Petr are wonderful.

    Once the exact parameters are known for the new maps, we will post embargoed areas.  There will likely be some areas previously mapped that will not be embargoed.  Check www.naoc2012.org in the next month or two and a general update will be given at the winter meeting.
