The weather gods are smiling upon us for this Sunday, and we welcome you with open arms to the great varied terrain of Quail Hill.  And for all you veterans of power line orienteering, it is a memory from the distant past, having been completely cleared and out of bounds forever. Tongue out

I've been designing and revising the courses (and refining them some more, even revising more of the map), so please come to enjoy a perfect day of orienteering.  There will be plenty of scouts and cadets adding youthful enthusiasm to the event, but leaving plenty of room for everyone to arrive any time you want.

And while our core staff is set at our new annual pavilion homebase, we will definitely appreciate all of you who could help early before running/walking a course, or go out first and relieve the morning staff when you get back in.  We can always use extra hands and smiling faces during the morning, help with instruction, welcoming everyone at Start, and of course hanging around for pick-up.

Spring has Sprung.  Join us for a great day!

I signed up to help with control pickup at the end of the day.  I anticipate running later (arriving noonish) and will also be meeting an occaisional orienteer there as well.
