Thanks to the volunteers who braved the winds today.  I was attacked by the clipboards twice, good I had some Karate lessons and knew how to throw some blocks to save myself from them!

There were some very creative solutions to keep everything from blowing away.  Wow!

Thanks to Mary Frank for doing the bulk of the work.

Thank you Bob Fink for helping Mary hang controls on Saturday.

Thanks to Dave Morgan, John Gillette, Bob Gross, Sam Kolins, Rich Boehme, Mark Kern, Petr Hartman, Kim McCane, and Bob Agosta.  One special thanks to Sharon Siegler who relieved me from afternoon registration so I could go out and run.

I know someone offered to take over start in the afternoon, sorry I can't recall the name that was told to me.  If there is anyone else that I do not know about who offered to help (or I missed... I think I got everyone)  thank you.

One more thank you to the people who do a lot of behind the scenes work to make these events possible.

As an ED who has found wind to be a tough nemesis, I'd be very interested in reading more about these creative solutions...

How do you take a small park that gets o use at least twice a year with one way sloping topography and manage to create interesting courses ?  I don't know, but Mary knows.

Thanks Guys...  Route Gadget should be up later.  It was great getting a few critiques and great no major trees came tumbling down.  Also thanks to Mark Frank for helping Saturday with the woodswork... and Steve Ohrwaschel for being at Start for a while. 

 

Bob Gross did have a genious way to strap down the maps.  We didn't have any issue with the maps flying away...

 

Also, thanks to Chester County Parks esp. Warwick County Park Staff.  They are awesome.....

 

Thanks too for all that coordinated taking kits away from me.  It was less to drive home with!!!!
