The weather for Sunday at Warwick County Park looks good.

Please consider volunteering to help run the event.  At the time of this post, I am light on volunteers.  There is a group of Girl Scouts rolling in around 11am.  If you are around the registration table and we look swamped, feel free to jump in and help for a few moments to get them get registered.  John Gillette is giving instruction.  Check with him to see if he needs a hand with anything.  The most critical spot that needs to be filled is Epunch for the afternoon.  If you can't stay for the full shift listed, I can take over.  If you can't commit until the day of the event, and find yourself with a little free time on Sunday, please see me, I may be able to give you a job!

Courses: 

White, 2.1 km, Climb 50 m, #11

Yellow, 2.5 km, Climb 80 m, #14

Orange, 4.4 km, Climb 140 m, #21

Brown, 3.5 km, Climb 65 m, #17

Green, 4.5 km, Climb 145 m, #17

Red, 6.3 km, Climb 175, #17

 

Warwick is not a very large area and this weekend we are constricted some by Fisherman everywhere near the stream, therefore courses were designed in a smaller area so word to the wise, be very careful when punching.  Controls are near other controls.  The clusters of controls are varied but because you have a lot of twisting and turning on the intermediate, and advanced controls check your control number before you punch.  The vegetation is minimal so don't let the visibility of controls trick you.  For Brown, I tried not to have you in too much rocky ground.  Finally, we have at 11 am about 40 girl scouts coming.  So if anyone would like to pitch in at that time and teach, that would be great....
