    Great day to be outdoors!

Evidently quite a number of people had the same thought. We had 61 people at a white/yellow event today. Better yet, we had lots of newbies. Billy Allaband helped organize a large contigent of deaf friends who had a great time (hurray) and were really good beginners. We had several Scout groups, a contingent from Kutztown University, and a happy couple celebrating their 16th anniversary.

Our thanks to Petr Hartman (finish and control pickup), Sally Reynolds (registration), Rick Reynolds (chauffeur for SallyLaughing), and Demon (official good luck charm).

    P. S.  Special thanks to Steve who redesigned the courses at the last minute. The heavy rains we had a week ago flooded most of the lower section of the park and resulted in many downed trees and treacherous footing. Nice to have Ocad files and Clue to get over these rough spots!

    Hi Sandy,

Yes it was so nice weather at Illick's Mill.  O'Deaf Group was appreicated that I showed up and instructed them how play an orienteering. They seems that they had fun times together.  They are looking forward it to play together again in the future.

    thanks
