I understand Jon had a special map usually designed for Mark Frank.  He ended up with a map that was misdrawn.  There was a complete shift in the controls to where they were I understand at least an inch and 1/2 shifted on his map.  After struggling with 3 controls, he finally figured out where the rest of his controls were.  I'd love to see this posted on Route Gadget!!!!  Mary

Yes this is a great story.  Jon's course was out of registration a hundred meters or so on the ground to the SW. After a couple controls he realized what adjustment was needed and using that adjustment along with the control descriptions was able to complete the course.. note he didn't finish last either!!!  Jon simply discussed how he had done it without complaining at all about his day. Something for the rest of us to think about when a control is perhaps hung a bit off or a circle isn't perfectly centered or a map needs a minor update.

May I have a map like Jon's next week?  The offset should just about cancel out my navigational wandering and put me right on course.
