Just went down to make sure the rain this week hadn't made the crossing impossible.  All is OK. The level at the first crossing is about the same as when I checked it earlier in the week.. just below knee deep, so the second crossing will be just above the ankle.  The second wire bridge is short and tight so the best option would be to wade the first one, drop off your wet shoes at the finish and continue to start in your running shoes and use that wire bridge.  If crossing the wire doesn't interest you, the second crossing point is shallow; but there are some rocks to negotiate to get to the edge of the water.

The rain has hatched a load of little black flies.  Hopefully they will be gone by tomorrow but bug spray might be appreciated.  There will be some at start, but after that you are on your own.

Yes.. and electrity for the computers.  :)   We have Paviliion #4, the Southernmost one.

RUSTIC PICNIC: This is Birdsboro's premier park. The adjacent Hay Creek provides the park with a tranquil and picturesque setting which makes it a great place to have children's birthday parties (adults, too!), large family picnics, reunions and, yes… even weddings! Four pavilions (two with fireplaces) are available for rent from April through October. Two of the pavilions have the capacity to accommodate up to 100 guests. Picnic tables and charcoal grills are provided. Water and electric service is also available. There are two restrooms – one is located between pavilions #1 and #2 and the other is located between pavilions #3 and #4. For rules, reservation and rental fee information,
