Very sad news...  Kent Ringo has passed away.  He's now on a new journey with Caroline.  I will gather information for you to send sympathy notes to his daughters....  I just wanted you all to know....  He and Caroline will always be in our hearts and our woods....

Kent was ever a kind and considerate man. He quietly made our club a better place.

Kent and Caroline were both treasures in so many ways. They were the soul of our club and always will be.

    God bless them both.

Let us be good stewards of what they built for us.

Kent and Carolyn Ringo, what a fantastic O Couple.  Rest in Peace Kent.  This is especially ironic (to me) as I just emailed yesterday - to Ms M. Annie (Briar Patch ED) my recollections on "Both" Carolyn and Kent and how I met and remember both.  The Ringos - an Ir-replaceable duo and friends to all pair.  Bob R   DVOA

I made an album for my photos of the Ringos... I may have more, but there's lots to sort through.

These can be used for Briar Patch, website, or anything in their memory.

I put up 4 photos. Three were taken at Kent's 90th birthday and other one during our last visit with them in 2012.

Ed, your link made me sign in and then told me I don't have permission to view the album

@Ed:  Your pic of Caroline pretty much summed her up...

It was a privilege to have known them for almost 30 yrs.

The orienteering world -- heck, the whole world -- is a better place for them having been here.
