Fort Washington Splitalyzer Results

    Some observant folks have noticed that the results in Splitalyzer appear to be different and that large amounts of time have been added for some Green and Red runners from the Go control to Finish.  Basically, just ignore the order in Splitalyzer and the split time from the Go control to Finish.  All the other split times are correct.

    For those who are interested, here is the explanation.  The Green and Red courses crossed the road and the time to cross the road was removed from the total time.  However, the splits file used by Splitalyzer has the actual times with no correction for the removed time.  For a number of runners, the total elapsed time at the last control is larger than the corrected, final time.  Since this normally wouldn't happen, Splitalyzer appears to add a chunk of time to the last leg.
