Janet Porter, with help from her friend Linda and husband Denny, took care of the Camp Shehaqua details and the food for the rogaine. That was an enourmous help and I can't say thank you enough.
Also, I was utterly amazed at the help I got for control pickup. Petr Hartman collected a whole swath Sunday after the finish and then Monday morning several people showed up: Clem McGrath, Bradley and Brennan Hall, Amy Loudon, Bob and Carol Fink, Tom Overbaugh and Samual Kolins. I had the easy task of just waiting for everyone to bring in the controls. Thanks!
Bob Gross designed our logo. Mac MacMullan helped Ann with the awards. Karl Ahlswede helped cut control descriptions. There are probably several others I'm forgetting and I apologize.
The main crew was Sandy Ahlswede, Dasha Babushok, Ann MacMullan and me. We hatched the plan back in January and the four of us took on the jobs of publicity, awards, registrar, wandering all over the map for countless hours picking control locations, vetting and hanging controls, map printing and all the day-of-event stuff. A great group to work with. Who knows what we'll come up with for our next adventure!
