Topic created by Orienteeringmom on Thu Mar 7, 2013 at 11:28 pmThe volunteer sign up page is set up and ready for you to volunteer to help with this event. It is the first event of our 2013 spring season and I expect a great turnout so the more help the better. Also this is the first junior training event for the spring. Any junior is welcome to participate in this training just be there and finish your course so that you can help pick up controls starting around 2:30. This is a great chance to redo a control that you might have had a problem with or to improve your map reading skills picking up controls that were not on your course and at a different direction than the course runners did it possibility. So that we have small groups for the juniors to work in, the more help we have for control pick up the better it will be. So if you can stay around to help it would be greatly appreciated. Hope for great weather and see all of you on St. Paddy's Day at Hibernia. No better way to celebrate the green than at Hibernia!

It would be great if Nate would be able to help to pick up controls with the juniors and share he knowledge with the young ones. See you both on Sunday!
