Hickory Run Sunday
-
Topic created by Guy-O on Wed Sep 12, 2012 at 1:34 amAny new info on the "local" O-event on Sunday (10/16) at Hickory Run?
Do attendees need to preregister? If so, how?
Course lengths? -
Reply by edscott on Wed Sep 12, 2012 at 7:12 amI have the course lengths and climb but none of the other details. If there is nothing about preregistration on the web site I doubt if it is necessary.

Reply by Vadim on Wed Sep 12, 2012 at 7:44 amFrom the generic training weekend notes:
Start times will be pre-assigned for you.
For this event the start window closes at 12:00 pm instead of the regular 1:00 pm.
Pre-registration is not mandatory but is required in order to assign start times. At least you have to get in touch with Event Director for more details. -
Reply by Steve on Wed Sep 12, 2012 at 8:04 amAll of the campers have pre-registered, but we are aware that many of you come up for Sunday only. If you can tell Fred that you are coming it will help with map printing. We will find an open time for you when you arrive, but we do close starts at noon so please come early.
As far as night-o goes, pre-registration is mandatory. It is also open to the public, but you must contact Fred by Thursday to get a time and a map and start time. -
Reply by edscott on Wed Sep 12, 2012 at 8:11 am..and quoting from the event page on this website...If you are only going out on the Sunday event, you should pre-register (to avoid the higher fee), but do not need to pre-pay. To pre-register, register on the web or send an email to the event director indicating which course you will run and pay at the park. If you have not pre-registered, registration at the park will be permitted from 10 AM until Noon at the $9 fee.
