If you are planning on camping at Francis Slocum State Park for the Aug. 11 and 12 weekend and haven't made your reservations it's time to do so before all sites are taken. You can go to www.visitPAparks.com. Several DVOAers are in the Hemlock Hill loop.
I have site 69, which is one of the nicer sites, reserved for anyone needing one, but doesn't yet have one. If you would like to have this campsite send me an email to claim this site. Cost is $23 per night. It is reserved for 2 nights so if someone needs one night and somebody else needs the other night.... that works.
Also Petr Hartman is in a site by himself. Each site can take two tents. If someone wants to share this site contact me and if someone else is not already sharing arrangements will be made. There is a limit of 5 people not living in the same household per site.

Just reserved out campsite,  and purchased the launch permit for our kayak and canoe.  See you there.  pat and bob burton

My daughter Dana and her friend Dan just reserved site 67. They will probably bring friends.

I'm so sorry I will miss this event. It's made for me  - I'd love to try a Bike-O but alas I will be on another adventure this weekend.
