Just wondering if there will be a blue course this year at Brandywine and how deep is the creek ?
With this being the last meet this year is anyone aware of any winter meets within a 3 or 4 hr driving distance of ny/nj?

Reply by edscott on Wed Dec 7, 2011 at 4:43 pmThere is no Blue listed on the schedule or on the event notes... see http://www.dvoa.org/info/news.php?news_id=41&ev=y ...so I'd not expect one to be offered. The creek is of relatively uniform depth and would probably require a short stretch of swimming to cross this time of year.

Reply by Sandy on Wed Dec 7, 2011 at 5:08 pmQOC has a regular winter schedule; see the QOC website. Their events are 3-4 hours from Philadelphia so depends on where in NJ you're coming from.

Reply by Tom-O on Wed Dec 7, 2011 at 10:50 pmThere will not be a Blue course at Brandywine. The Red course is 7.7 km. None of the courses cross the creek - we will be using only the east side of the park.
