Just wondering if there will be a blue course this year at Brandywine and how deep is the creek ?

With this being the last meet this year is anyone aware of any winter meets within a 3 or 4 hr driving distance of ny/nj?

There is no Blue listed on the schedule or on the event notes... see http://www.dvoa.org/info/news.php?news_id=41&ev=y   ...so I'd not expect one to be offered.  The creek is of relatively uniform depth and would probably require a short stretch of swimming to cross this time of year.

QOC has a regular winter schedule;  see the QOC website.  Their events are 3-4 hours from Philadelphia so depends on where in NJ you're coming from.

There will not be a Blue course at Brandywine.  The Red course is 7.7 km.  None of the courses cross the creek - we will be using only the east side of the park.

The Urbans and Plunketts and maybe Steve Mones and other intrepid types are going to Anza Borrego in January (out near San Diego).  Dave and I didn't do so well two years ago, but it was a lot of fun and very different terrain.
