    I would like to announce Map Puzzles, a new website dedicated to the promotion of trail orienteering in North America.  The blog, which will feature training tips and control walk-throughs, is meant as a training tool to help people learn and improve in the sport.  In addition, the site will contain a wide array of information on trail orienteering for everyone from beginners to US Team members to course setters.  Anyone is welcome to post comments or create an account to add your own blog posts.  Suggestions for how to improve the site are welcome.  Please forward this announcement to anyone you think may be interested.

    Did you know that two members of DVOA, Richard Y. Ebright and Karl Ahlswede, traveled to France this year as part of the US National Team to compete in the World Trail Orienteering Championships?  They both represented our country very well.  You may also want to congratulate Karl on another amazing achievement - finishing a 50-mile run this weekend!
