We've got courses for orienteers of all abilities and ages... hopefully one is just  right  for you to have a GREAT run!   But  also we need a few more helpers... registration, and pick up are most in need, and ePunch, and Start still have open slots!  THANKS for helping!

From our CS Notes-- things you may want to know about ahead of time...
ALL COURSES: Please be aware that this map was made in 1995. Vegetation, trails, and rootstocks are not all as shown.  Some mapped trails are neglected or cannot be found at all; other usable trails do not show on the map. The mapped root stocks have mostly decayed beyond recognition, while the obvious root stocks are more recent, and not on the map. The park is somewhat wet in low-lying or poorly drained areas, and... some fields are maintained in a lawn-like state, but others are unmowed except for (unmapped) mowed trails. Some unmowed areas have quite high vegetation!

ADVANCED COURSES (brown, green, and red)
    ·  You will need to cross one or two narrow public roads with limited sight distance and no shoulders. We will place signs to alert the motorists, but PLEASE USE CAUTION, while crossing. If you choose a route along a road, remember to run facing traffic and be especially aware that cars may approach both from both directions simultaneously.
    ·  Check your map for supplemental water stops not shown on your clue sheet but located close to your preferred route between controls.
    ·  Compared with our WCC spring meet, the vegetation is much thicker—both in the woods and in the fields. The forest is generally quite green, but with a few areas of delightfully clear running. We tried to use some of the best parts of the map, but getting into them and away again is likely to test advanced runners with at least some substantial undergrowth. We do not recommend route choices through large areas of dark green, though there are some unmapped trails that can help if you are lucky. In case it is helpful, we have indicated (with a small red mark on the map) one unmapped trail from a northern field into the adjacent woods that connects efficiently with a nearby mapped trail segment. Please take a look at the map near the registration area.

    Approximate Course Lengths & Climbs:
    White 2.4 km 90  m; Yellow 2.9 km 90  m; Orange 4.2 km 160 m
    Brown 3.8 km 160 m; Green 5.3 km 275 m; Red 7.7 km 350 m

Hope to see you there !
