Last month I orienteered in the Czech Republic. It was multiday event with unique and cool Underground sprint. Here are my words & pictures:

    Hi Petr,

    Nice pictures and write up.

The link for "Here is the map and course setter's notes" does not work though.

Thanks for the writeup. The YouTube video  ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA71Z4sGKvY )  was really entertaining!

I don't understand it. First it didn't work, after rechecking and finding it fine it worked. Unfortunately I can't to change it. Since Sunday verizon for security reasons doesn't allow us to do changes to our sites. They call it " ongoing enhancements"

I'll bring those maps to the next event.

thanks for posting the pictures.  it was really interesting.  Sort of like Enver Hoxha bunkers.  Seeing those pictures reminded me how some years ago, went to a local O meet in an urban park in Rome, Italy, and a few days later, returned to the park to check out some of the mapped features, in particular the ones for "cave", thinking they could be entrances to catacombs.

I borrowed a control from a friend and took some pictures.  The caves and terrain was eventually used for a  trail on a run by the Rome Hash House Harriers.  Among the participants, an american writer and a university professor of architecture.

btw, recently, access to these underground cavities has been blocked by metal grates and steel doors.  The city parks dept responded to citizen's complaints that too many homeless people were living in the park.
