Canoe O thanks back

    I'll let Steve tell you the thrilling details of the Canoe O, but thanks should really go to the folks who kept the show afloat. Fred R. ran the epunch operation solo, including figuring out how to do two events in one session. It turns out that the combination of a "regular event" (the white/yellow that ran from 10 to Noon) and the score O format of the Canoe O do not mix well together. Fred figured out how to do it AND how to handle e-punches for people who "ran" both events. Deja Vu all over again: the Urbans were the first competitors/helpers on site on Sunday just as they were at the first French Creek Canoe O and had the whole registration operation set up before we unloaded the rest of the O equipment. Pickup of some really soggy controls was handled by Mike, Zach, Dan, and the Hartlines. Special thanks to Mother Nature who timed the various storms around our events, although she has a wicked sense of humor...
