Both E-Punch kits are in need of leashes the Juniors were supplying for fund raising. Can we get a resupply soon as there is none in either kit. If there is any issue with this let me know and it will be taken care of. Any junior volunteering to handle this please post here with a time frame for resupply.

I spearheaded the original leashes project by donating the materials and organizing the juniors to make them.  I am willing to subsidize this again if a junior steps up to organize it.

Ron, how soon do you need them?  With it being summer and meets not as often and family vacations this could be a bit hard to get going right now.  If we really need them right now I'm willing to come to French Creek in two weeks and work on them with juniors before and after their runs.  If they can wait I was thinking it would be a busy job for the juniors at the Hickory Run Training weekend in early Sept.  Let me know what we need to do.

This is not a critical item, just a convenience to have them available to the club at large. I am looking for a junior to step in and say " This is what we can do and When we can do it". Just know they are completely out. The only thing that matters is if the juniors still want this as a source of funds. If it suits to do them at Hickory Run Training that's O.K. Thanks to Sandy for her offer and to anyone else who might like to jump in and help with the supplies, and Janet for her time devoted to helping out the juniors.

I presume that (DVOA) junior funds were raised by selling the leashes.  How would the ones made for rental SI-cards be a junior fundraiser?

@Ron:  Perhaps this would be a good project for your grandson.  Laughing

Ron I understand what you are saying about wanting the juniors to take the step to be involved and as much as our young people today are into social media, I rather doubt to many of them read the eboard.  I think we should maybe post a news announcement asking for Juniors to step foward and take on the project at either the Hickory Run weekend or at some other time they would prefer to do it.  This way we will see if they are really interested in earning funds for themselves or not.
