Ft. Washington Results

    Results for the Ft. Washington Relay are posted - both the splits and raw results.

    I goofed when doing the results and under the team results, the Yellow and Orange course results appear twice.  I'll ask Kent to fix it, but for now, just ignore the second set of results.

    If you want to know the time you actually ran for the course, the easiest is to look at the splits file.  Under the finish, it shows your actual time on the course.  All times in the results file are with all penalties added in and all credits subtracted.   

    For two teams, the credits and penalties had to be redistributed so as to not give negative times!  The software would just report a 0 time and not a negative one.

    Nate Orwaschel and Kelly Boulger:
       Kelly's time:  29:01 with a -40:00 credit
       Nate's time:  40:15 with a +10:00 penalty
       redistributed as -15:00 each

    Angelica Riley and Lena Cherkashina:
       Lena's time:  21:43 with a -40:00 credit
       Angelica's time: 64:07 with a +20:00 penalty
       redistributed as -10:00 each

    Thank you Sandy for doing the results as well as for epunch and course printing for today's Fort Washington event.  We would also like to thank Vadim for epunch and registration assistance as well as Mary Frank and Tim Walsh for their help at registration and clean-up.

    And thank everyone that showed up and gave this new event twist a try.  It was gratifying to see a first time orienteerer taking first!  Kudos to Nate for a great strategy.

    It was a cool twist on the game. Trying navigate for the two of us had my head spinning.

    Nice spread post event too.

    Thank everyone,

    It was a pretty awesome event and it was a great twist to orienteering.  Would be a great mass start event and have each team doing the orange or yellow opposite ways so no one would know who to follow.  Also I might start bringing Kelly to some more events so watch out!!  :)
