O-Suits

Topic created by sfmones on Tue May 10, 2011 at 9:58 amFellow DVOA Members-
Spring is in full swing. The weather has been sunny and warm. Jackets and sweatshirts have been coming off and O-Suits are blooming.
Show your loyalty to DVOA with a colorful and practical O-Shirt. In addition to displaying the club colors boldly, they also happen to be a very patriotic red, white, and blue.
The O-Shirts come in two styles in both long and short sleeves. There is a form fitting model with zipper front, or a more relaxed fit with crew neck. The fabrics are cool and surprisingly durable. Several course designers have tried to shred my shirt, but it survived in better shape than its wearer. Due to their light weight and aerodynamic design, the shirts are guaranteed to shave at least one minute per control off your time or you may contact Vadim for a full refund.**
If anyone is interested in purchasing an official DVOA O-Shirt, please contact me. For more information about the shirts, including full-color images and detailed descriptions, click on the "Club Info" button near the top of the website. Or, just view the many photographs of members in full club regalia.

Reply by sfmones on Tue May 10, 2011 at 2:50 pmI understand we have a variety of shirts, but I do not know the current inventory of pants. I will check this and respond as soon as possible.

Reply by WindWalker on Tue May 10, 2011 at 11:09 pmI'm interested in some pants too.
Will the shirts be at any of the up coming meets? I'd like to check em out and try em on for fit.
Are the prices the same as listed on the website under O-suits?
Thanks, Mike -
Reply by sfmones on Wed May 11, 2011 at 10:46 amI do not yet have possession of the o-suits, so I do not have specifics about our inventory of shirts and pants. I expect to have the goods at either Tyler this Sunday or Hay Creek next week. I believe the prices listed on the website are still in force.

Reply by seland on Wed May 11, 2011 at 11:11 amBy the way Steve, I'm assuming that the pants/shirt combo comes with an even better performance guarantee than the shirt alone.

Reply by DaveUrban on Wed May 11, 2011 at 11:15 amIf I wear 2 shirts can I expect 2 minutes/control improvement?

Reply by sfmones on Wed May 11, 2011 at 1:34 pmDave- With the right combination of o-shirts and pants, you could finish before you start. By layering, you might be able to stay home, watch TV, and just check the results that night for how you did. There might be some problems synching the epunch modules so, until then, you'd better play it safe and run the courses.

Reply by seland on Wed May 11, 2011 at 2:06 pmAlong that line, the Lehigh Valley Wheelmen hold a recreational cycling race called the Donut Derby. 35 miles and two donut stops. 3 minute time credit for each donut eaten at each stop. However, I don't think anyone reaches a negative time. I see an easy cross-over into the woods for the format.
