Saturday Nights In The Lehigh Valley (a very unscientific survey)
-
Topic created by Steve on Sun Jul 30, 2023 at 3:01 amFor the first time the club has sponsored three events in a row, after the summer heat on Saturday evenings, way up in the Lehigh Valley. For those of you that came, please give some feedback on the drives home, the summer heat (we dodged any thunderstorms, but two of the events had storms for people to drive through). For those that did not come, WHy? Too far away? Other things to do? How can we change your mind?

Reply by KyleS on Sun Jul 30, 2023 at 1:13 pmSteve - I would have loved to go, but coincidentally just had 3 different things already lined up during the events! And I don't think the evening start (vs. a morning start) would have made a difference. Hope to see the maps get used again soon!

Reply by kathyu on Tue Aug 1, 2023 at 9:46 amDave and I would have made it to all three, but our family vacation came first, so we only went to Saucon. When you have a defined series like our summer short courses, maybe people decide they are in or out -- it might be interesting to look at who is showing up all the time or none of the time. But in any case, we appreciate the work you and your team esp Peter and Sharon put in.Dave and I almost didn't go because of the weather, which turned out to be okay.I would encourage folks who haven't tried some of these short courses to come out for the last few. Each event has been unique and interesting and fun in its own way. You would think the format would get boring but just the opposite.
