Once again, I have to thank Sam Kollins and SAndy Fillebrown for advice and mentoring on how to load the event reg and OE12 programs. They showed me once, I used their expertise three times. Doing three events in a row you would expect me to be a whiz. That is notthe case. No sooner did the first person download and the printer stuck. While begging Lena Kusheleya for help we had a rookie show up that required me to do some instruction. When I was done, Lena was in the woods, but Sam had taken over. The printer was working and the files were updated to show who had finished one course and begun the next. Even Nina cooperated and was not fussy in the least.
Things went well after that, and soon it was time to clean up ( some people were adamant about being hungry and let's get a move on.) I had four master maps, but no sooner did I pass them out, then they were subdivided amoung six flag chasers. Thanks to Wyatt, Oriana, and AJ Riley. Ron Barron (who drove up just to pick up and take the kit home) Bob Agusta and someone that I missed. Flags were back before I was able to put away the tables, chairs and tents.Petr Hartman was instrumental in the whole three week project. He drew all three maps, designed this set of courses and help hang flags and run the events.I am sohappy that we finally used his maps. Everyone agreed that they are masterpieces.Afterwards we went out for pizza, and even Sam, Lena and Nina jjoined this week. As a result, the results did not get posted until 1:00 in the morning. What dedication. Most of all, Thanks to the runners. This is way too much work to have no one show, and your appreciation is amazing.
