Thanks to everyone that ignored the threat of rain on Saturday morning and came out to orienteer at WCC SP.  I hope everyone enjoy their course.  There were a number of people that helped out, special thanks to: Sandy Fillebrown, Tom Overbaugh, Nathan Ohrwaschel, Steve Mones, Fred and Bev Hartline, Bob Fink, Dan and Zach Barker.  Extra special thanks to Nancy who glued clue sheets, stuffed maps, and helped hang controls on Friday.

Ralph, Nancy, and friends:  Thank you for setting a very nice Green course.  I had a chance to see parts of my "home field" park that I had not seen before.  I lost focus a little on the back nine which cost me some time.  I was impressed by the turnout on a wet Saturday in Delaware.  There were lots of families with young orienteers, and I expect it was a very positive experience for them.

Yes I agree that the Green course made good use of the terrain and current mapping. Of course the vegetation has changed a bit, but following the deer is usually a good choice.  I also heard some comments about having more Saturday events.  What's the feeling on that?  Do we have course setters that can prepare their courses on a Friday? If anyone is interested in course setting a Saturday event for the 2012 schedule let me know.
