Thank you to everyone responsible for the Springton Manor event.  Special thanks should go to those hardy souls who must have needed scuba gear to hang some of the controls.  The sun shone, the new map was accurate, and the courses were fast even with the mud.

The park was beautiful, the map was great, and I didn't mind the mud.  My problem is that my mind couldn't wrap itself around the 1:5,000 map scale, leading to some pretty stupid parallel errors.  Sigh....

Yes I went into 1:10000 mode once.  Check my splits and you can tell where.. or wait for route gadget.

Well done courses and new map.  Thanks to Eric Weyman who went over all the original fieldwork, Fred Kruesi who has it ready for offset printing layout and Mac for the courses which gave us a nice guided tour of the property.  Good weekend!!!
