Topic created by Orienteer7 on Sat Mar 5, 2011 at 8:07 pmI was at a Sunoco station about a week or so ago and noticed they were advertising local events of the monitors at the gas pumps. It said to go to event.gstv.com to advertise for free.
I tried it and our Warwick event is now posted on the "your neighborhood" site under sport events. Not sure that is the only thing it should be listed under but have not had time to do more.
If you have a DVOA event in your local area which is currently approved you may want to try to have it listed on the site. The site is tied to Facebook and Twitter along with GSTV. I would really like to see our events show up on the monitors at gas stations with our web site listed.
You have to go to http://event.gstv.com and then set-up an event. It takes a little time and I am not sure what the visibility would be but it is free so I think it is worth the effort to get as many local events on the site as possible. Let me know if you register a local event.
