                   I Have only general Ovice
                            Course details
                        White  2.4 km ...  21 m Climb
Yellow  2.7 km  This course may see very heavy Youth traffic. 24 m Climb
                   Orange 4.0 km 33 m Climb

                     Green  5.7 km  only 63 m Climb
red course  7.6 km   only 66 m Climb Stop

I Have only general advice. Don't Tug on Supermans Cape!
     Rutgers
I Have only general advice. Don't tell Guy but I am rooting for DVOA  ;-)

I Have only general advice. If confused (on Course) Turn Right  At the Rootstock that looks like a bear
Turn West at the Bear that looks like a rootstock!

I Have only general advice.  Only OJ, RED, Brn and Green courses will have water Stop

I Have only general advice. There are about 500 Rootstocks at Rutgers.  Only about 225 are Mapped

I Have only general advice.  80 Percent of all controls are Rootstocks. Hey, it can happen.

I Have only general advice. There is at least one common Advanced control near a emergency repair fence with a 15 foot deep pit. Runners must go around/bypass it, and not jump over the trail blockage, white and yello hikers will not encounter that.

Restrooms may be locked until 11 am (not sure) in Nearby Becks hall. Please use any Wendys, Mcdonalds or Burger Dude stores as you find them on Route 18 on Sunday before coming to the O meet.. If you do use the rest rooms on campus, Please do Not change clothes in them.

Please consider to Pitch in to help relieve My HVO volunteers.  We are just not hearing from the Local Volunteers like at past events. I say, if you ... see a registration or starter or trainer having trouble , either Pitchin or alert me to stations manned with too few helpers, or help the 100 plus HS and Scout hikers toget on Course.
before coming to the O meet.  Forest is a fast run in 70% of the forest, but there are rare but occassional rootstock blockages in the deep forst.  I did only rudimentary map recording/updating as I work two jobs of late and there was no way to record them all .  Forest is a Decidous forest with occassion single or large Copses of Pine trees

When coming to the finish, please note the start and finish are in the general same area. Pleasedonot bowl overs starterswen finishingyour O run.

Green runners willfind a twistof cutting thru Rutgers Housing apartments, or using a really nice and straight Sidewak.  This in not to bum you out, merely it as the most efficient way to get you into a nicer forest area where you will have even More O fun in the forest.

The safety bearing at Rutgers is NorthEast or NorthWest depending on which of two halfs of the Forest you are hiking in. If you reach Avenue E, There is generally a good Line of sight to the Parking lot 101 and the start and finish line.

Ticks, there are low density of ticks in the northern part of the Map, But a larger medium denisity of Ticks in the deep South and Southwest part off the Forest.  Advanced Runners are instructed to Use DEET anti-tick bug spray and all runners should check there selfs when you reach Home.

              Seeyou in the  forest

I Have only general advice: And lastly, this if the weather holds as predicted  (53 degrees High for Sunday), will be a 15th year in a row I have mastered My Good weather charms.
