I am looking for a partner to do adventure racing with! Many races are local, even on maps you are familiar with. They are 6 hours in length, at least to start with.

I am looking for an over 40 male or female, as we would most often enter in the master class. You need only intermediate orienteering skills, should be able to ride a mountain bike on a variety of terrains (rarely very technical), be willing to get wet & dirty and still think you're having a good time. Paddling skills are a plus, but not really needed.

My partner of many races, Doug Sevon, has moved and I am looking to share these local events with someone new. Next race is at Marsh Creek State Park, Oct 19th.

We have all been reading lately how orienteering has worked it's way into this type of event, now it's your turn to experience it!

I don't fit your over 40 requirement, but I think I'll be at that race!  I like that park for mountain biking.  Good luck finding a partner!

I think the IMBA has done the new trail work in the park. It's great biking now. Ten years ago there were almost no trails in the park. Now if we could only find a way to get rid of all the invasives & open the woods up for better orienteering!
