Topic created by j-man on Mon Sep 13, 2010 at 9:20 amThanks to Fred, Janet, Sharon, Steve, and all the other volunteers who made for another amazing Hickory Run training camp weekend.
I think we are so lucky to have everyone who works so hard to put that together so we can focus on orienteering for two days in a wonderful location. -

Reply by Steve on Mon Sep 13, 2010 at 11:26 amYou are certainly welcome, but the list is much longer than listed above!!!!
In the kitchen alone, off the top of my head, Bob and Pat Burton, Ron Baron, Dave Desch, Bev and Fred Hartline, Mary Sevon, Dan and Zac Barker, Svetlana Frolenka, Kathy and Dave Urban, Caleb Acuff, the Boy Scout troop that did trash duty both days, Scott Thatcher and the list goes on.
Thank you all very much, I could not have done it without you. -

Reply by camperpat on Mon Sep 13, 2010 at 8:39 pmOnce again we had a great time at Hickory Run, but I'm not sure which was more difficult, the orienteering course on Sunday or working in the kitchen. Thanks to everyone for a fun weekend. Pat and Bob Burton

Reply by edscott on Mon Sep 13, 2010 at 10:46 pmYes both days were excellent!! The lesson planning and preparation for Saturday was well done and the Sunday courses gave everyone plenty of opportunities to use the skills they were taught on Saturday. But the highlight is always the food.
