After an O-less weekend, you should be hot to trot for the August 8 event at Schuylkill Center, so come on out for some late summer fun.  There'll be a white course, a "long white" with longer legs and more route choices, and for the quick thinking and quick running "rabbits" there'll be a sprint.

Newbies, come on out; there'll be instruction available on the basics.  Everyone else, come on out and stretch your legs!

I forgot to mention: If you want to spend a little more time with the fine sport of "O" than a quick sprint will grant you, there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer.  Thanks!

    These courses are trail-only, right?

Yes, that is the challenge of designing courses for SCEE (Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education) in the summertime (thank you Wyatt, our course designer!).  Due to terms of their conservation easement, we must stay on the trail during any summer events.  Bonus - no wallowing through any fight!  SCEE does offer challenging terrain even though we must stay on the trails - start is on a hilltop ridge, and everything goes downhill from there :-).  Another challenge/benefit are the art installations - they are temporary, thus unmapped!  SCEE is a gem of a little map, and has a lot to offer.
