Volunteers for Springton booth 28 April?

Topic created by FredR on Tue Mar 27, 2012 at 9:12 amIs anyone interested in helping at a DVOA table at Sheep and Wool days at Springton Manor on 28 April? The park ranger suggested (and I agree) that this would be a good way to get newcomers interested who would also be likely to come out to our event there in July.The event runs from 10 to 3, but if we had a number of people we could split that up. I anticipate we'll have a table with some handouts and sample maps. No instruction per se, just answering questions like "So, what is DVOA?"Logistically, I'd like to have the DVOA tent and banners, which I could pick up from the Hibernia event the weekend before. I expect they'll be wanted at Fair Hill the next day, so someone (me if there aren't other options) would have to get them there early.
