Topic created by LarryG on Sun Mar 7, 2021 at 6:42 pmI heard about the permanent course at Fort Washington at the Winter meeting. So I did it today as a warm-up for the season, after hibernating for most of Feb. The controls are in excellent shape, and it was great weather today. Walked right up to some grazing deer, who didn't pay any attention to me. My self-printed map was actually 1:10,000, not the labeled 1:7,500, but that's OK, I didn't even bring a compass.
