Sad to report that long-time DVOA member Roger Martin passed away last Saturday, Feb 15th. He'd been orienteering since the mid '70s, until about a year ago. We shared our first event, a Score-O, at Ridley Creek, and I can remember his saying "Valuable time, valuable time!" as we made our first (of very, very many) route choices.

At this time, no services are scheduled, but I'll post here when I know more.

Sad news indeed.  What a sweet guy.  "Valuable time" is something to meditate about.  Rest in peace Roger.

I am just seeing Dave's post and this is very sad news.   Roger has been an active member over the years and helped in many ways when he was able to do so.  We shared so great times at events in the past.  We will miss you Roger.
