Rates go up soon (10/1) for DVOA's 50th Anniversary Event.
If you haven't already planned to come, I'd really encourage you to sign up. Perhaps for the first time we have 3 experienced "M21-35" course setters. National Events are a great way to showcase our club to the larger orienteering community and help raise some funds for new maps.
Saturday will be a mix of forest 'technical' sprint orienteering at Hawk Mountain followed by fast courses at newly mapped Penn State Berks followed by a dinner on campus.
On Sunday, orienteers will be treated to net downhill courses through open woods at Mount Penn. A test of tehcnical orienteering and lots of route choice. The map will be perfect as Eric W. has been checking the work from January's mapping. The price is well worth this opportunity to run on a shuttled course with a great map and optimal courses.
