For those of you who missed the posts far below, Adams Creek will not be happening and Egypt Mills is awaiting word from yet another NPS meeting. Fingers crossed that we will get our check mark soon. The HVO/DVOA dual meet will be at Rutgers in November.

Now who's going to look way down the list of posts for cancellations ?
There needs to be a new post and other means of getting the word out about cacellations and all things DVOA.
Even the kit manager wasn't notified of a change !
Why can't all the tech savy people in this club set up email notification of event happenings, just like all the hundreds of automatic emails we all get daily ?

"What we have here is a failure to communicate." Anybody want to suggest a solution? IMHO, it is not technology, it is an organizational problem.

Many of the key people were at Hickory Run, including me, the guy with the kit, Petr, the only person assigned to Adam's Creek, and Julie, the person that would get the kit from Petr for Fair Hill. We were all given the kit schedule beforehand. When it became apparent that Adam's Creek would not happen, we moved the kit along as Ron had already determined. Unfortunately, we did not inform Ron when we got home, and I have accepted the responsibility for that.
