Could scoring for DVOA members at the US Champs and NAOC be folded into DVOA scores and rankings? Just wondering. KathyU Ps to access club rankings, select Rankings above 2 times.

Kathy,

It is not feasable to manually process all of the entries from US Champs. Unless we build the database with orienteers from all clubs in US and receive results (backups) with formatting we expect when processing results for rankings. But again, we would have to build global database to do so.

Woould we consider SVO events where there was a significant DVOA presence?

There were a few back in the springtime.

SVO events, which are on our schedule, dual with HVO, and Mid-Atlantic Champs are part of our results and rankings system, unless they are small and/or used manual punching.

From what I recall, the SVO event at Lancaster County Park was manual punching.
