Control Pickup at the Water Gap Rogaine

I have just posted a volunteer sign-up for collecting controls at the Water Gap rogaine. I realize it is a lot to ask people to go back out after 6 hours and collect controls, and that by the time you're done (4pm) and have eaten and rested (5 or 6 pm) that it will be getting late. So I am certainly understanding of anyone needing to leave and not get back out in the woods. I've planned for that and so I, and a few others, are willing to stay overnight and pickup controls on Monday. But, if I can get a bunch of people willing to go and just get a few on Sunday evening that would be great and really, really appreciated.

Reply by Sandy on Sat May 21, 2016 at 4:51 pmAnd if anyone could not make the rogaine because of having to be there early, you could always come at 4 and pick up controls as a free training! Not likely, I know, but, hey, it doesn't hurt to ask!

Reply by markwalsh on Sun May 22, 2016 at 4:54 pmI'm sure I won't get to see them all....will they have reflectors ? if so I'd be willing to clean up into dusk if there were a place to drop them before I leave.You mentioned staying overnight .....if you leave me a drop off point I'd like to possibly get a little night O'ing in If you can use the help.

Reply by Sandy on Sun May 22, 2016 at 7:09 pmThe controls will NOT have reflectors; I do not want people out at night and neither does the park so no night-o training. If you want to go get a few controls Sunday evening around 5:30 or so, that would be great. I have to pay for anyone staying overnight Sunday, so am only willing to do that for people who will stick around Monday and pick up a bunch.

Reply by markwalsh on Wed May 25, 2016 at 0:42 amI wouldn't be staying overnight was just feeling out the flexibility time for pick up.Not sure how many controls will be out there but I'd be more then willing to pick some up.If really in a bind and there are loads out there I could probably stay for Monday pickup ....but I'm from northern joisey and getting the controls back to you folks would probably be a problem if done on Monday.
