Everything was great, from the weather to the packing up, thanks to the team and the teamwork. One final congrats goes to The Bobs -- ED Bob Rycharski and CS Bob Burg because they take on this challenge every year with little help and less recognition.

Reply by kathyu on Mon Apr 18, 2016 at 9:31 amIt was a treat to do the brown course on a freshly updated map. When I looked for a mapped opening in the green, it was there. Same for rootstocks, and there were a LOT of them. So thanks to Bob B for the great map and courses. Too bad I didn't get a chance to see the changes under the (notorious) power lines. Did anybody get over that way?

Reply by BRycharski on Mon Apr 18, 2016 at 11:50 pmHi KAthy, while I went out on Brown course (and enjoyed it greatly) I peeked at the Power line ROW from brown next to last brown control (also a shared rootstock contol with OJ course #12) and could not see much. Last year though, the power company had ripped ALL veg out, even the dark green narrow center woods strip totally, but left the indian trail open for dirt bikers and hikers. Its only accessable from the center of the map as the Norther farmer has also mowed all down and installed a dirt parking lot for Pumpkin picking sales/visitors and also a small Pond with an island on it (manmade). The only feature still there are the large 20 to 30 foot knolls that the power Poles occassionally sit on, a few vegitation under-story study enclosures (plastc OJ fences)) both Great Green controls. Alas, they are all too visible to the land owners but at least the abandoned trailer and metal junk was removed and hopefully recycled. That Trail winds down to the south all the way to the local NJ33 ( ~1 mile away), an I have fond memories over many years seeing the resident Eagle pair invite there squirrel and rabbit friends over to dinner in there tall tower suite.
