Thank you to everybody who braved the cold (but fortunately only a couple of flakes of snow) to come out to today's event.

Mary did a great job as always as event direction and arranging permissions.  She and Erik Eddy put a some good time on the phone Friday as we tried to figure out if holding the event would be a good idea - I think we made it to the right choice in the end.

Fred, Ron, and Ed were once again a big help in getting all gear and maps ready.  I really like the new packaging arrangement for the gear that Ron has set up - very user friendly.

I was down at start, so I am not sure who to thank for keeping registration and e-punch moving smoothly, but I think Kathy Urban took part of the e-punch time.

Big thank you to all the people who stayed around to pick up controls:  Ian Meneses, Petr Hartman, Dave Urban, Ron Bortz, Diane Reider, Bob Fink, and Ed Scott.  With all of this help we were able to be all packed up and on the road by 4:30.  Having all of you willing to stick around on a cold day made a big difference!

Thanks for great courses Sam- your courses are always full of creativity, special attention to detail, and you anticipate potential map/logistic issues well.  I enjoyed the state gamelands section, which I had intially thought it might be an area to fear.
