We are currently assessing the feasibility of hosting the Governor Dick event tomorrow (Saturday) due to possible messy weather conditions on Sunday, and conflicts to pick a suitable alternate date.  We will update here (and Email, Facebook) by 2:00 PM.

Sam/Mary will make the call at 10PM tonight Friday for go/no-go on Sunday.  If the forecast is still calling for sloppy conditions we are looking into April 2nd as an alternative date.

It has been decided that Saturday will not be feasible.

I just recieved a call from Mary that this weekend's Governor Dick event has been rescheduled for April 2. Better make the move than have people traveling/running on hazardous roads and trails.

May have been jumping the gun a bit here.
The latest forecasts have been looking much better for Sunday as far as any snow accumulating on roads.

So for now we are sticking with the plan of letting the forecast models make another run and making a call on the event at
10PM tonight.

The beginner event has been moved to April 24, regardless of the decision on Sunday's event.
